When you upload a dataset to Profiler, the file is loaded into your active session's memory and processed exclusively for the duration of that session. Data is never written to a database, cloud storage, or any persistent location on our servers.
This design is intentional — Profiler is built for researchers handling sensitive clinical and biological data where confidentiality is paramount.
When you reset your session, log out, or close your browser tab, all associated data — including uploaded files, intermediate results, and generated figures — is immediately removed from server memory. There is no residual data tied to your session after termination.
Profiler may collect anonymised, aggregate usage statistics (number of active sessions, feature usage frequency) to improve the platform. No individual data, file contents or results are ever logged or monitored.
For researchers requiring absolute data control, the Profiler Desktop application runs entirely on your local machine with zero network communication. No data leaves your computer under any circumstances.
Recommended for clinical data, patient records, unpublished research, or any dataset subject to institutional data governance policies.
